Socian,

is a print publication I created as part of a university editorial design project. The concept focuses on the connection between music, fashion, and personal identity. I developed the magazine entirely from scratch — from its name and content structure to the visual direction, typographic system, and layout design.

This project involved a full editorial process:
• Writing original feature articles, reviews, and branded content
• Designing the layout in InDesign based on a custom grid system
• Selecting and editing imagery, building photo mockups and ad concepts
• Creating a consistent paragraph style palette and colour system
• Producing over 20+ pages of designed content across multiple sections

Socian showcases my skills in art direction, editorial design, typography, copywriting, and creative software (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). It’s not just a layout — it’s a fully realised, culturally driven magazine that reflects my creative voice and design thinking.
